Recipient of over 20 grants to bring artists into schools and to work on special projects with students. Grants agencies included: The Education Foundation Trust of Jackson Public Schools, The State Department of Education, The Junior League of Jackson, The Arts Alliance of Jackson & Hinds County, Milwaukee Public Schools and the Mississippi Arts Commission.

Only woman selected from 250 applicants to study for M.F.A. in sculpture at San Francisco Art Institute. Recipient of International Scholarship
